Hi, your Gigabyte X570S has three PCIe slots. You've set up the connections as you described, but moving the NIC from slot 2 to slot 3 causes issues. The OS detects it but doesn't function properly until it's back in slot 2. It seems there might be a BIOS setting affecting this behavior. You may need to adjust or reset certain parameters in your BIOS to resolve the problem. Also, ensure you have enough PCIe lanes available for the new configuration.

Referring to page 32 of the guide, the lowest PCIe port is labeled as the x4 slot.
