I've been contemplating switching from my USB Wi-Fi adapter to a PCIe wireless solution because of ongoing issues. Would anyone suggest any PCIe wireless options? I have two models in mind. Since I'm on the same level as my internet modem, I might need to relocate to a space below it. My budget is around 150 CAD. I’m not sure if the change affects things, but I don’t have an optical drive and must download drivers online. Here are the two I’m considering:

- ASUS 4x4 802.11AC Wireless-AC3100 PCIe Adapter (PCE-AC88) – https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01H9QMOMY/
- TP-Link Archer T9E AC1900 Dual Band Wireless PCI Express Adapter – https://www.amazon.ca/TP-Link-Archer-T9E...899ea631cb

Both support 5GHz and 2.4GHz, with beamforming and multiple channels.

This version is better than the USB option found at pcpartpicker. The 4x4 offers the quickest performance with the proper router.
