Received RMA for a non-working Sup Flower 650. The 75° I received is now powering the system except for the AOC monitor. The monitor works with the laptop HDMI connection, which is fine. I tried everything possible, including removing and reinserting the BIOS battery and checking all connections. Tested both my cards, but no signal was detected. If it’s a BIOS issue, how can I return to check and fix any settings? Thanks.
I’ll attempt the alternative video slot tomorrow. My setup includes an Asus B450 Pro gaming PC with a Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB RAM, and an RX 6600 graphics card, 8GB of memory. The monitor isn’t working properly with the laptop. Thanks.
I also tried the bottom PCI slot but still didn’t get a signal, possibly because of a faulty power supply or VGA cord. One plugged in might help. It seems the PSU connection at the bottom is problematic—wires are squeezed so I took out the SSD cage to try a different cable. This should make it easier to use another VGA cord and hopefully resolve the issue. If not, maybe the motherboard isn’t working properly even though everything spins up. I might have to give up soon since I need to focus on the UE project, but I’m trying to avoid checking things right now 😉.
For your help, I’ll be working on PSU cables in hope they fix it. If you have any ideas, feel free to share. I might need to call the Geek Squad eventually because I’m running out of options.
My only option seems to be checking if Bios is set up correctly, but I’m not sure how to do that. If I can’t view anything on the screen, then I need to figure out the next steps.
If you have another PC available, you can install the BIOS update on a USB thumb drive with FAT32 formatting. Insert the drive into your motherboard's USB flashback port and adhere to the instructions for flashing the BIOS. This method enables an update without requiring a monitor or CPU.
