For a while now, my PC has been struggling with poor performance. Previously, I could run most games smoothly at 200 fps in performance mode using fn as an example. Now, I’m limited to around 90-110 fps at 144 with minimal activity. When the problems started, I switched to a 1440p144hz monitor, but the issues persisted before that change. I’ve completed a User-benchmark before and again today, but after my BIOS update my XMP was disabled, yet I’m still facing the same problem. Before the issues, my performance was underrated; now it’s significantly worse compared to others. My friend with a newer build is also experiencing similar issues. His specs are listed here. Since I didn’t encounter problems before and he did after his PC was assembled, I’m considering drivers as a possible cause. But I might be mistaken—could anyone confirm if this is the right direction or if something else is involved?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
i noticed that after my bios update my xmp was disabled, but I enabled it and I am still having the issue.
you have one more BIOS pending an update, I'd flash to
L3.41 [Beta]
then clear the CMOS and then enable X.M.P in BIOS.
As for your GPU, use DDU to remove all GPU drivers(Intel, Nvidia and AMD), then reinstall with the latest driver sourced from AMD's support site in an elevated command.
How old is your PSU in your build?

1. Alright, let's give it a shot.
2. Do I also have to install amd software: adrenalin? The only way to install the driver is that.
3. I assembled my PC last September; I bought it new then.

But it's late for me, so I'll shower and then sleep.

I attempted the first two options, but they failed. I plan to try gaming in safe mode with networking.

2nd problem: can't run safe mode with networking. Safe mode starts, but without networking.
