My setup includes an I7 8700k, an ASUS ROG Strix 1080, and 16 gigabytes of DDR4 RAM. After downloading Anthem, I'm having issues running the game smoothly even at low settings. The GPU is consistently near 98%, and I also face problems with Call of Duty: Blackout and similar titles. I'm trying to play 1080p but want to enable the 144Hz refresh rate on my monitor, though I can't play any games other than Overwatch. My hardware is solid, so I'm puzzled about these performance issues.

I might attempt to reinstall the drivers, did you obtain them from Nvidia or Asus? It's best to get your drivers directly from the manufacturer. Additionally, are there many background processes running that could be affecting your PC's performance?

Are you certain? It seems better to always use drivers from nVidia, since those from ASUS are unlikely to be current.

The Nvidia drivers could be more recent, yet every card has minor variations in fan behavior and memory handling.

The performance that is "struggling" refers to a situation where something is not functioning well or meeting expectations.

The GPU is operating at 97% utilization while the CPU remains within normal levels at 54%.

I'd say. Am I doing something wrong with my card? I haven't touched anything over clocking wise

No, I'm seeking information about your frame rates and anticipated performance.
