PC stops working suddenly when under continuous heavy use
The specifications detail the hardware configuration of the system, including the motherboard model, processor, graphics card, memory, power supply, case, operating system, and power consumption considerations.
Welcome to the forums, newcomer! The PSU is 1.5 years old? Which BIOS version are you using for your motherboard? This problem emerged alongside an unusual clicking sound that appears to originate from my PSU as well, though I'm uncertain if it's connected to the crashes. Roll up a sheet of A4 paper into a cylinder, then hold one end to your ear and use the other to locate the noise source. Attempt to uninstall all GPU drivers (Intel, AMD, Nvidia) using DDU in Safe Mode, then manually reinstall the newest drivers from Nvidia's support site via an elevated command—Right click installer > Run as Administrator. You mention having a custom loop; could you expand on this with component details and attach a photo of your build's interior?
Initially, thank you for your response!
Below is a snapshot of my system's internal components (the power supply is hidden behind the black cover):

Although it looks a bit dusty, I've been maintaining the fans and intend to clean the case today.
I acquired my PSU around three years ago and used it for 1.5 years in my previous setup. All other components were replaced.
My BIOS version is: 7E12v14
After some investigation (and a bit of trial with the paper), I'm fairly confident the clicking noise comes from my PSU, as no other parts seemed to make similar sounds. (The only component near the PSU is an HDD that I've unplugged, thinking it might be the cause)
I also plan to reinstall the display drivers using DDU and wonder if I should test for crashes afterward.
For my custom loop, I'm using a pump called Aquastream XT (the German version may require translation), some standard soft tubing, this CPU block: Alphacool EISBLOCK XTX, and this radiator: Alphacool NexXxos, with three fans installed.
Relevant note: I have another problem I'd prefer not to mention here—it's that my PC won't fully shut down after updates or manual restarts; instead, it hangs just before power-off (no screen output). To complete shutdown, I need to press the power button and then restart. The same issue occurs when entering sleep mode (Power menu → sleep), but it doesn't fully enter sleep, causing it to stall. This isn’t a major concern for me, so feel free to overlook it if it’s not important for your main issue.
Edit: I also have an audio recording of the clicking/thumping noise from the PSU: http://sndup.net/bjgb6
Additionally, I've removed and reinstalled my GPU drivers via DDU.
