PC stops working 30 seconds while starting a game.
Following the replacement of my motherboard, RAM, and CPU, I encountered problems with game loading. The PC frequently goes black and crashes when starting a game. Within 30 seconds, the game fails to launch. Temperatures remain normal—CPU stays below 55°C, GPU consistently under 60°C. Both the GPU and PSU function properly in my older system. My setup includes a Gigabyte Ga-h110m-s2h motherboard, an i5-6400 CPU, IJ RAM at 2133MHz, an RX 470 ASUS Strix GPU, and a Fractal Design Integra M550W PSU. The system operates smoothly at idle and during Cinebench R15 tests. Anyone know what might be causing this issue?
Not a brand new setup, but all drivers were reinstalled, XMP turned off. Currently working with Prime 95—everything appears normal. Testing lasted an hour, no issues detected except crashes when the game launches. System specs: motherboard Gigabyte Ga-h110m, dual i5 6400 cores, 2 HDDs, integrated RAM, 2133 MHz GPU, RX 470 ASUS Strix.
Standard rig details? Usually switching platforms might cause issues, so try moving one at a time. Make sure to clear the CMOS. If you switch platforms, reinstalling Windows is recommended.
Old specifications remain unchanged; only CPU, RAM, and motherboard have been updated. Replaced components include: CPU - Q9300, Motherboard - Asus P5Q, RAM - Corsair Dominator 1066 MHz. I’ll upgrade the BIOS and perform a fresh Windows installation. Should resolve the problem. Thanks!
Play another game if you can. Push the GPU to its limits and adjust its power usage to 80%.
This PSU is functioning properly; it's been two years and remains under warranty. I've had no issues with it for the past two years. I'll switch to a different board soon and will keep you updated on my progress. Appreciate your assistance!
