Hi there, I'm really into Horizon Zero Dawn. Since the game launched in 2020, I'm curious if Forbidden West will follow suit. I checked a few sites and found some details already. The recommended specs seem to be an i7-6700 non-K processor, GTX 1070, and 16GB RAM. My setup is an i7-6700 non-K on an overclocked board with an RX 5900 graphics card, 8GB and 16GB RAM at 2400MHz. I'm considering swapping it out for a GTX 3060 Ti. I play at 1080p at 144Hz with 1ms refresh rate. We don't know for sure if the game will be compatible, but if it is, would upgrading the GPU make a big difference? Would it be worth changing everything? It's important to me because many people are budget-conscious, and I've been waiting nearly two years for this card. Thanks in advance!

I think this recommendation suggests only basic graphics in the game. It might cause some issues in certain areas or situations unless there’s a texture pack mod available. Maybe wait until the game releases before purchasing anything? Price could drop then too. Depending on Sony’s plans, they might delay porting it to PC for years, just like with other well-known games...

Well if Zero Dawn is anything to go by you'll still have like 3 years to save up before it arrives on PC so nothing to really worry about there now.
