Hi friends,
My PC setup is working as expected, but there are some recent changes.
I have an AMD Ryzen 5 3400G CPU on a MSI B450M-Pro VDH Max board, powered by a Corsair VS650 PSU and equipped with Corsair vengeance LPX 2x8GB RAM.
The system uses a WD Green 240GB SSD and runs Windows 10 Pro.

Recently, my PC has been rebooting suddenly without any error screen, even though it used to load fully before shutting down. It also started during the boot screen.
I've tried Safe Mode, the Recovery console, and driver updates—nothing helped.
Swapping memory modules one at a time didn’t resolve the issue, and I’ve changed the power supply without success.
I cleaned the CPU dust and applied new thermal paste; temperatures are normal.

There’s a CPU light on the motherboard that stays ON even when the system was stable before. Now it keeps triggering random restarts.
In Windows Event Viewer, I found several critical events right after each restart.
The messages indicate:
Kernel-Power, Event ID 41, Task Category: (63)
BugcheckCode 0

My IT friend suggested a motherboard issue, but he wasn’t sure since the CPU still works fine otherwise.
He’s been asking for more details and will check further.

What could be the cause and what should I do?
Thanks!

I faced this problem for a long time and resolved it by altering the PSU, but it doesn't appear to be the cause here.
There aren't many things that could go wrong, so it might be related to the CPU or the motherboard.

I don't have access to the specific BIOS version of the motherboard. You can check this by consulting the manufacturer's documentation or using the system settings to view the BIOS information.

The default version hasn't been updated, and this issue has suddenly appeared. For the past four years, I've used the PC regularly, but this problem hasn't occurred before. Recently, it started happening again and has become more serious.

Make sure to update the BIOS first! The newer BIOS version not only addresses hardware problems but also ensures compatibility with software such as Windows 10 built versions and fixes updates.
