My computer has these specifications: processor i9-10850k, motherboard Z590, Aorus Xtreme Waterforce GPU, RTX 3090, 24GB RAM, 4x 8GB G.Skill F4-3600C16-8GTZNC, power supply Corsair AX1600i, additional drives and SSDs, Windows T-Force TM8FP7001T. It worked fine for a while but now it shuts down unexpectedly, like someone cut the power. The only lights left are on my reservoir’s RGB (EK-Quantum Reflection PC-O11D). I often have to restart the PSU manually using the back switch because the power button doesn’t respond. Usually this happens when I leave the machine idle—even though it was just a few minutes ago, or after hours of use. Temperatures are normal, so it’s not overheating. The PSU voltages look correct. I’ve been fine for about two weeks without this issue, running 8-12 hours daily with mixed workloads. It’s also happened a couple of days in a row, suggesting it’s tied to me leaving the PC while it was running. No error logs appear in Event Viewer when I try to fix it. The only changes I made were enabling an XMP profile for RAM and running memtest all day—no problems there. Everything seems fine 90% of the time until it stops suddenly. I’m not sure what’s causing it and would appreciate any advice or details you can share.
