Has anyone encountered a problem where their computer shuts down right after turning on, followed by the motherboard light flashing like a nightclub? This isn't typical debugging behavior. I suspect it might be due to a faulty or short motherboard or a bad power supply. The machine in question is a budget build from a while ago, a Gigabyte B450M DS3H, which has been running continuously for about 3.5 years and has been used for four years now. Anyone have any ideas?

Suddenly, this occurred?
Have you adjusted any configurations or components before?
Which troubleshooting actions have you attempted so far?
Does the motherboard indicator remain active indefinitely or cease once powered down?

It seems to happen unpredictably now. It used to fix itself after restarting the PC, lasting a few days. Now it occurs within five minutes after a restart. I haven't done much troubleshooting—just checked cables and connections. The screen keeps flickering until I perform a hard shutdown by holding the power button for a short time. This is my Mom's computer, and I've moved her SSD to the downstairs machine so she can continue working.
