PC shuts down and the EzDebug indicator lights up
Recently I replaced my GTX 1070 with an RTX 3060 Ti and everything worked fine. In the past few days my PC has stopped functioning properly—fans are still running but the screen and keyboard stop responding. This issue is fixed after a hard reset from the power supply unit. I found out it might be due to an old BIOS or driver problem, though I’m not sure what to do next. Any advice on resolving this, updating the BIOS, or flashing it could help? I’m comfortable building PCs but not with troubleshooting. My components are: motherboard MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX, CPU Ryzen 5 5600X, RAM 16GB, some Corsair products.
Did you observe any particular cause for the shutdowns? Have you attempted DDU? Are the temperatures within normal range? What is your power supply unit rating? Which BIOS version is active?
Shutdown signals are launching games (any title), but not when stress levels rise, appearing unpredictably. I haven’t used DDU yet, will give it a try now. Heat levels are higher than usual; CPU PSU is a Kolink 700W modular unit, not the optimal choice. After updating BIOS, performance improved for about five hours.
Currently updating DDU and applying the latest drivers for my CPU and GPU. If I don’t return soon, it’s safe to assume everything is working.
