Following the setup and launching mods from Curseforge (not using a browser), my computer kept displaying a blue screen. Despite contacting Microsoft Support multiple times, they advised clearing and reinstalling Windows 11, then installing a new M.2 SSD to run it. The issue still persisted after these steps. Earlier this month, before all these problems appeared, my PC had been functioning normally. I also replaced the SSD and swapped out my old graphics card for a new one. After updating the BIOS and resetting CMOS, the blue screen continued. At RepairStore, they suggested possible motherboard or GPU faults, or even a CPU short circuit. A technician tested the motherboard without my GPU and saw the BSOD frequency drop but didn’t resolve it. When I returned the motherboard for repair, they confirmed no problems during testing and updated the BIOS. However, upon receiving it back, I was unable to install Windows 11 anymore—only testing in Windows 10 now. Initially stable, it began blue-screening after a few hours of use and driver updates. Even when starting up, the screen flashes again. I’ve tried swapping in a different CPU (12th gen instead of 13) to check for CPU issues, but that caused a black screen. I’m stuck and would appreciate any guidance or advice. ZIP with 2 Minidumps https://drive.google.com/file/d/126Vcuqr...sp=sharing BSOD Codes: beginning of the issue: System service exception Bad pool caller Kmode exception not handled IRQL not less or equal Fltmgr recent ones: Page fault in non paged area Bad Object Header Bugcode NDIS driver Driver irql not less or equal system thread exception not handled INFO: x64 Based System W11 installed myself Built at the beginning of May (currently running on W10) CPU I7 13700K NZXT Kraken Z53 Asus Prime Z790-P WIFI G.Skill Trident Z neo 64 GB (2x 32GB) (both are memtested and passed) Corsair RMx 1000W (Old SSD) Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB (New SSD) WD Black SN850X 2TB Seagate Barracuda 6TB 3.5'' (only used to install games on) (Old GPU) Sapphire Radeon 580 (New GPU) MSI GeForce RTX 4070 (I know this is way overpowered for modded Minecraft, but I was planning on playing God Of War or any of the recent Resident Evil games)

It seems like you're asking about a driver issue. Did you run the Windows installation?

I deleted the installations that use secure boot.

Performing analysis with only two dump files isn't very precise. I’ll highlight a few points. One appears to be RAM, as it triggered a page fault, indicating data inconsistency. The other involved the Filter Manager driver, which is responsible for file handling and usually points to corruption or drive problems. RAM and storage often look similar since low-priority RAM is placed on the storage drive in the page file. The location of the corruption isn’t clear, but from your reported crashes, it seems more likely RAM. Your RAM speed should be fine—2666MT/s should suffice with just two sticks. Even though you ran Memtest, memory testers aren’t very reliable for DDR4 and newer types. It’s better to let users run the machine normally with one stick at a time to identify crashes. Test both sticks separately; if they behave differently, it helps narrow down the issue. Also, check the OS for corruption using SFC. The operating system can become corrupted during crashes, which might cause further instability even if you test only with the healthy RAM stick.

I checked both sticks individually but both caused blue screen issues. Edit 1: Also attempted the sfc scan, but received an error saying "Windows resource protection could not perform the requested operation." I plan to try again once I enter the OS or use safe mode with command prompt. Edit 2: Successfully ran an sfc scannow in safe mode via cmd; it fixed something. Also tried a single RAM stick—it no longer blue screens at startup, though it takes about two minutes for the blue screen to appear on the home screen. 3 Bsod codes recorded: 2× BSOD code System thread exception not handled, 1x system service exception. Edit 3: Tried both single RAM sticks again but still experience blue screens during startup. I retrieved more Minidumps for reference: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1l4TmaL0...sp=sharing

It seems similar to what came before, but now it resembles RAM more closely. This makes three scenarios stand out in my mind. 1. The operating system might be damaged, causing crashes even when using just one stick. Such crashes can damage the OS and make running SFC difficult. Ideally, you'd erase the drive and reinstall the OS, then test the RAM by checking one stick at a time as before. It could be quite frustrating. 2. The storage device is faulty and showing unusual behavior. You've experienced two crashes linked to the Filter Manager driver, which often points to storage issues, though crashes suggesting poor storage are more common. 3. The CPU's memory controller is malfunctioning. If this is the case, it might appear as RAM. These three options aren't ranked by likelihood except possibly the first one. Updating the BIOS was worth trying; it looks like you're using the latest version.

I’ve cleared the drives several times using secure boot, but I’m curious about a more efficient method for a fresh installation. Could there be an alternative approach that also addresses Intel ME? I’ve faced driver problems with it before.

Simply removing all partitions during installation works fine; doing so is excessive. I expected to find chipset driver options, but I didn’t.

Could it influence the drive or not? I'm just trying to understand.
