Hey, I understand you're facing some challenges. All your university documents are stored on this PC. In short, the machine has been running smoothly for over a year now. Recently it started from scratch, shut down, and when I tried to power it back on later, it immediately went to BIOS. Both SSDs appear in BIOS but not in the Boot Manager (F8).

System details:
- Asus Z570 Dark Hero GPU: RTX 3090 FE
- CPU: Ryzen 5950x
- RAM: 4x 16GB (current status uncertain)

Sometimes it only boots into BIOS, and sometimes it doesn't start at all (code 0d on the motherboard). Anyone know what might be causing this? I'm really worried because my exams are in three weeks and I don’t have a backup of the files. It’s urgent.

I also tried enabling CSM in BIOS, but that didn’t help. With CSM OFF, the drives don’t show up as possible bootable devices.

I cleared all files except for the mouse and keyboard. I also attempted to start with just a single SSD, leaving out the one with Windows, but it didn’t resolve the issue—inserting a Windows USB stick still indicated the data remained on that SSD.

Do you have the original Windows boot USB still available? It can help you restore your data by using the recovery tools on the drive or executing the sfc command via the command prompt.

You're encountering an issue with the diagnosis feature not responding. Have you tried exploring alternative options or buttons that could resolve this problem? Since you haven't used the recovery settings, it might help to check those first.

Windows 10, I navigated through every repair option on the USB drive, but nothing succeeded as shown earlier.

Could we possibly set up Windows on an external SSD? I’m not sure if there are any other free drives available at the moment. Also, I’d like to try booting from there and keep my files elsewhere. I’m feeling really frustrated right now.
