Hey there, I’m experiencing some performance problems while playing PUBG. The game stutters and the FPS drops frequently. I’ve tried using Nvidia Inspector profiles from other forums, but I still encounter this error when trying to apply them. Here’s the message that appears: "DRS_savesettings failed: NVAPI_ACCESS_DENIED".

My current setup includes an Intel i9-9980xe with a Dual 2080ti Founders edition, Samsung 970 Pro 1TB, 64GB DDR4 3200MHz. I’m using a Corsair Dominator graphics card with a 1200W power supply and an Asus 2560x1440 IPS monitor at 165Hz.

I’ve read that PUBG performs poorly with SLI configurations, so I attempted to play with only one GPU disabled, but it still causes stuttering and frame drops. Using a profile from another game like BFV helped improve performance significantly, raising my FPS from 80-90 to 140-160 on ultra settings.

However, now I’m facing the same issue with PUBG—around 90-130 FPS on medium settings, but then sudden drops to 20, 30, 40, or 50 FPS. I understand the game is struggling, but my friend has a PC with a 2080ti, 9700k, 970 Pro, and 32GB RAM, which runs much smoother. He mentions he uses settings higher than mine.

I’m not very familiar with PC optimization, and I’m unsure how to proceed. I bought this PC from Digital Storm. I feel the SLI setup was a waste of money, and I think the 9700k would have been a better choice. I already ordered my PC when it was released.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
