I own an MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Edge Wifi Board. Intel Core i5 10600k @ 4.10GHz. 64 gigs DDR4 RAM from Corsair. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Super. Powered by an 850W PSU. I switched from a smaller case to a bigger one to accommodate the new GPU and everything functioned well. The MSI CPU cooler (MAG Coreliquid 240R) was producing unusual noise when mounted horizontally, so I replaced it with a K360 V2 cooler and refilled the thermal paste. I cleaned and reconnected all connections carefully, checking each time. After that, I ran through the event viewer and found no unusual activity. I updated the drivers to the latest versions and tried updating the BIOS for the motherboard.

I'm running out of ideas and feeling frustrated. During gameplay or short pauses, the PC emits a strange electronic "Brrrrrrrrrrrr" sound and then restarts from the Windows window. It only boots out of windows occasionally, but sometimes it restarts the system and displays a BSOD before doing so. This issue appears only during gaming, not when browsing or using Windows normally. CPU temperatures stay below 50°C even while gaming.

I don’t understand why this is happening, especially since it started after installing the new cooler. Should I reinstall the old one?

Hello there! I see you're asking about your power supply unit. It claims to provide 850 watts, but could you share the brand and model details? Also, how old is your PSU?

I would revert the previous version as a troubleshooting action. If the issue arose after the replacement, I'd consider it the initial step.
