New to this setup.
Here are the details:
Motherboard: Asus x470 ultimate Rev 1
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
Current GPU: Gigabyte G1 GTX 1080
RAM: 4 x 8GB corsair vengeance 3200(xmp on)
PSU: Corsair CX750m
I purchased an XFX SWFT 6800 XT and it worked fine until.
After a couple of hours, the PC would restart whenever I played a game—no BSOD, just a reboot.
After replacing the CMOS battery, it functioned properly for about two hours before restarting again each time.
I returned the GPU and installed my 1080, and there were no issues after a week.
My PSU has been making some coil whine since the start.
I’m wondering if the PSU is the cause, or if anyone else has experienced similar reboots during gaming without errors?
Checked the error log but didn’t find anything.
