Hi,
I just replaced the motherboard, CPU, and added some new RAM to my PC. It starts up and the fans spin but then stops after five seconds with flashing lights. When I try to boot it again on its own, the same problems happen.

Old PC details:
- Intel i5 3330
- Gigabyte H61M-DS2
- 16GB DDR3 RAM

New PC details:
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600x
- Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2
- 16GB DDR4 RAM

Any clue why this is happening?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
When sharing a troubleshooting thread, it's important to provide your complete system details. Please list the specifications as follows:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Include the age of the PSU along with its make and model. Also, mention the BIOS version for your motherboard at this time.
Since you've made an upgrade, we'll compare your original and updated specs, so you'll be comparing two sets of information.
Note: You should reinstall your OS to ensure the new platform functions properly.
