I recently performed maintenance on my PC's water cooling setup, but it's been roughly six months since I disassembled it (due to being busy and having a laptop). After reinstalling everything and bleeding the loop, the system remains stuck in posting mode. The OLED on my motherboard displays an HDD Post Error 92. During this process, I only changed the CPU water block and the HDD. Here are the adjustments I made: clearing the BIOS, switching to a new CR2032 battery, unplugging the HDD, re-seating the NVMe SSD, re-seating the RAM. The RAM re-seating didn't resolve the issue initially, but random post error codes like 97d733... appeared each time I restarted. Now it consistently hangs at HDD 92.
My specs are: AMD Threadripper 2970WX ROG Zenith Extreme Alpha Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 3200MHz, 64GB AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, ASUS RTX 2080 Ti O-11G x2, Corsair HX1200i 80+ Platinum, and storage components including Samsung Evo 970 Plus 500GB M.2, Seagate Barracuda 4TB HDD in SATA, and SanDisk x400 256GB DIMM2.

I recall Linus mentioning that Threadrippers with their oversized design need extremely accurate torque settings to ensure proper contact with the socket. Could replacing the water block have altered the pressure on the CPU? You might need to reattach the Threadripper since some pins may no longer fully reach the pads, potentially causing random error messages. You can also test your components individually in another reliable machine to identify faulty parts. Good luck!
I've already attempted that but it didn't make a difference. I don't have another PC or any extra components to test. I've also observed that the OLED on my motherboard is stuck at code 97 for a short time and displays test NVRAM, but then restarts after about half a second. I'm not sure if this was there before.
Consider visiting a repair shop for assistance. There should be several nearby options. You might also try running the simplest configuration—just PSU, motherboard, CPU, and RAM. See if the computer boots up. If not, remove everything except these parts to narrow down the issue. If it still doesn’t start, add the GPU and attempt to boot again. Keep repeating this process until you identify the problem or test all components. I haven’t used that particular motherboard, so I can’t offer specific advice. I looked through the manual, but it didn’t cover this situation.
