PC remains inactive, motherboard displays a warning red indicator for a brief moment
The computer isn’t powering on, the motherboard lights up red when the PSU starts. I assembled a system a few weeks back and it’s functioning properly. Yesterday I powered it off and now it won’t respond at all. Switching the PSU on and off still doesn’t make a difference. After resetting RAM and SSD, it remains unresponsive. I’ve verified every connection to both the motherboard and power source. Is this related to the power supply? Thanks.
Disconnect the CMOS battery for 2-3 minutes, then reinstall it and attempt again.

Edit: if you lack a multimeter for testing the PSU, use an alternative like an RGB strip or fan to verify power presence. You can still run the test without the PSU, but the RMx will only spin its internal fan once it reaches sufficient load.
