The PC won’t shut down or put it to sleep when the gamepad is removed. Try adjusting settings or checking for conflicts without disconnecting it.

You could simply attach the gamepad to a USB device and power it down.

Certain gadgets or operations might stop a computer from shutting down, sometimes moving it into "Sleep Status" but then forcing it back to the login screen. You can examine the power settings for the affected device and turn it off so it stays "Always On".

Sure, I can try that. Would you like me to look into a permanent solution for this problem?

The previous check showed no available option for this gamepad in Device Manager. Other devices had it, but this one didn’t. I’ll try again to confirm.
