I updated my BIOS and tested the RAM sticks in all orientations, but they still won’t install properly. Even with a 3000MHz setting, the issue persists. If the advice from the original poster is correct, replacing the RAM might be necessary. Any recommendations on compatible RAM for my Asus PRIME B550M-K would be appreciated. Thanks for your help and support!
Adjust the speed, voltage, and four main timings directly on the stick. Keep other settings in auto mode, typically using XMP stability—this means the motherboard isn’t matching the XMP Profile’s timing, allowing the RAM to function properly. Corsair RAM is well-known for not automatically applying its own XMP profiles, which explains why you might encounter problems.
Make sure your 8GB RAM is installed in the A2 and B2 slots (the second and fourth slots next to the CPU). Try putting it back in, restarting, and see if the issue resolves.
