Hello everyone, I'm facing some issues for a few months now and I'm not sure what's going on. After installing Windows 11 officially, my PC keeps freezing randomly, whether I'm playing games or just idle. Initially, after the clean installation, I ran Memtest86 and found one error, so I replaced both RAM sticks. The problem continued after some time. I also noticed the motherboard lights blinking when I plugged in a USB device, whether it's on the front or back. I thought it might be related to my wireless mouse or NAGA Pro dongle. When I removed and reinserted it, the lights turned off again. Then I tried using another mouse, but the PC still froze randomly. I've only tested with a mouse and keyboard now. I believe the issue could be with the USB ports or the motherboard itself. My system details are: ASUS ROG Strix X570 (EGALINE) with Ryzen 5900X, stable clock 4.2, no voltage detected, RAM Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB at 3200MHz only, using XMP profile. I also have a Lian Li 360 AIO, a Corsair RPM 650W PSU, and two NVMe SSDs. In the Event Viewer, I can't see any errors, but I shared a link: https://imgur.com/a/JnSYmsi

asus rog strix x570 gaming options
BIOS details for your motherboard?
psu corsair rm 650W
your psu age is unclear—please specify the gpu make and model, as your 5900x doesn’t have an iGPU.
attempt to reinstall the newest chipset driver from AMD’s support site using an elevated command, such as right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

I'm sorry
I have an NVIDIA 3070 MSI
the PSU is quite old
I still encounter this Event Viewer error repeatedly
plus it displays "secure boot is not active" even though the BIOS says it is enabled
Bios version 5013

I received updates. After trying everything, I attempted to remove two of my three screens from the GPU. My main monitor uses a display port to a DP port, the second screen connects via HDMI-HDMI, and the third uses a VGA adapter on a display port. I kept only the main screen connected through the DP port. After restarting, I heard one short beep followed by three long ones, which suggests a GPU issue. After the PC restarted, I played three Dota 2 games and used the computer for about eight hours at 2K resolution without any freezing. I'm now testing a new DP adapter for my second monitor, hoping the problem lies with that component rather than the GPU.

I installed a new cable straight HDMI to the DP port and connected all three monitors. I experienced freezing after about 11 hours, which might indicate an issue with the GPU.

The situation appears to relate to a potential heat or power concern. It's important to confirm the exact model and age of the PSU. Also, check if any overclocking is in progress—CPU, GPU, or memory. If so, pause and return to standard speeds until the main issue is fixed. All components should operate at their default settings.

What steps have you taken regarding the memory error you referenced?

Thanks for the reply. The PSU is a coolermaster 650M, I've had it for over six years. For memory problems, I swapped the RAM and freezing still happened. Regarding the OC, I have a stable 4.2 CPU with multiplier and stock voltage. PBO is turned off, RAM is stock speed 3200MHz with XMP enabled. I'm removing the riser cable and trying to connect the GPU directly to the motherboard as it was two years ago; I plan to update later.

I would highly think about swapping that PSU for a better one. Also, everything should be ready to check for stability. If possible, I’d also suggest re-testing the memory at stock levels.
