I've started exploring more racing games with the latest Project Cars update. The main thing missing from it is personalization—something similar to Forza or Gran Turismo where you can purchase, upgrade, and customize cars with unique paint jobs. My main concern is finding a solid PC racing simulation that delivers the same immersive experience as Forza. If it exists, I'm ready to purchase it now. While I understand buying Forza on Xbox One, I still think PC Master Race is worth checking out. Forza 5 had poor controls with the new controller, which needed significant improvements. I’m hopeful for better performance in Forza 6. Sony hasn’t released a strong racing title for PC either. Thanks for your assistance!
I hope but unfortunately there are whispers that the engine will run on DX12, though nothing confirms a PC release. They haven’t done this before, so I don’t understand why now. Forza and Halo remain the main reasons Xbox is still going strong. Competitive CoD is shifting to PS4, which means it’s no longer available there either.
I’ve considered it, but those options don’t quite fit what I’m after. I’m looking for genuine driving, authentic vehicles with lifelike details and actual racing tracks. NFS and Midnight Club fall short in providing that real experience.
I hope they make Forza for PC, because I've been wanting it since the release of Forza 3 and when I got my first PC. As a passionate fan, I'm a bit biased, but it's clearly the top racing simulation ever made. Gran Turismo might attempt it, but they'd need to cover every car ever built, every track worldwide, and every racing style in one game to even come close.
It's not fully accurate to say you're looking for something like racing or Assetto Corsa.
