I don't understand LAN in detail (no tag to look up), but I'm familiar with local multiplayer. It's reasonable to say with an internet connection you can try a "LAN" via the online multiplayer feature. LAN play seems to be declining lately unless the game supports hosting a server. http://store.steampowered.com/search/?ta...tegory3=37

I haven't played it in a while, but one of my favorites was Rollcage. It isn't available for purchase online except on old game sites. You can still buy physical copies. A fan-made patch exists for newer systems. The site has installation steps (note they block ads, but the full guide appears at the bottom): http://www.play-old-pc-games.com/2014/02/06/rollcage/
