I upgraded my PC by purchasing new components. The upgrades included an I5 10600k MSI Z490-A Pro Corsair, 16GB 3200MHz DDR4 RAM, a Corsair 650M PSU, a GTX 1080ti graphics card, and two Samsung Evo SSDs. I recently installed Windows and updated all required drivers. Everything is functioning properly now—games run at double the FPS compared to my previous system, the OS feels more responsive. However, I’m experiencing connectivity problems with the built-in LAN. Many games drop unexpectedly from servers, and some online titles fail to load even when reaching the menus. I’m not losing internet access for Discord or anything else, just the game server. I’ve tried numerous fixes: reinstalling drivers, switching driver versions, altering network adapter settings, resetting the router, using new Ethernet cables, changing DNS settings, disabling antivirus and firewall, and more. My old PC worked fine with the same router, cables, and ISP. Now, when using my phone as a tethered USB, I can play games smoothly—better ping than wired connections, which still baffles me. The download speeds and ping remain consistent across tests. During startup, I encountered boot issues requiring a switch from UEFI BIOS to CSM (Could this relate to the ongoing problems?).
