I purchased a laptop for school projects and everything worked until one unexpected day. Discord stopped functioning, and trying to install Notion failed. Now GitHub Desktop and Raven are also unresponsive. I attempted a clean Windows installation from a USB drive, keeping all my apps and files intact, since reinstalling would be too time-consuming. The issue remains unclear—I notice the apps appear briefly before disappearing and aren’t visible in Task Manager.

Consider executing sfc /scannow via the command prompt if you haven't done so already and check for any fixes. Should it not resolve the issue, proceed with clearing %appdata%. To do this, open Run by pressing Windows + R, type %appdata% and press Enter. Navigate to the Discord folder and right-click it to select Delete, which will remove AppData. Then, return to Run and type %localappdata% followed by the Discord folder to delete LocalAppData. Finally, restart Discord to test if it now opens correctly.

I don't have enough information to identify the exact computer. Could you provide more details or specifications?
