Despite pc gamers being seen as elite, many developers seem indifferent. Some ports are poor quality, like Arkham Knight or GTA 3. Delays in releases also frustrate fans—Injustice came late, and the GTA 5 PC port arrived a year and a half after other ports. Missing features such as splitscreen on PC ports are another issue, suggesting developers haven’t considered PC players who enjoy multiplayer setups. Recently, I was surprised when Battlefield 2 was announced to support splitscreen, but it was only for consoles. The lack of support for PC gaming experiences is disappointing. I’d love to hear others’ perspectives on this.

Developers focus on platforms that generate the most revenue. This isn't limited to PC; generally this feature is uncommon even in Halo 5 (after bungee I lost interest in Halo games). Personally, I use a HTPC for titles like Firewatch, Life is Strange, or a PS4 Pro for games such as Last of Us. My wife and I often enjoy story-driven experiences together, and I prefer the Switch for its multiplayer capabilities.

It's just right since we enjoy every moment of the high frame rate performance!

It's likely you won't even see the problems if you run it at 30fps on your PC. JC3 performed well overall. The game was tuned specifically for NVIDIA at launch. AMD has now improved their 400 series cards. GTA5 plays smoothly without issues.

The exact details of what was ported to GTA V are not fully disclosed, but it's known that some games were adapted for the platform, often with modifications or re-releases.

I didn’t expect anyone to notice or care about a status update, and I thought it was pretty close to gaming topics. I mainly enjoy casual games on my budget PC, Rocket League, Shadow of Mordor, Life is Strange, etc. Nintendo really shines in local multiplayer. Still, some people stick with Codemasters... now that’s all I’m thinking about, lol.

Everyone’s complaints focus on developers taking advantage of players. Major AAA games tend to prioritize consoles since they’re the most accessible platform. It’s simpler and more lucrative to build for the least popular system while still reaching better ones. Gamers on PC get experiences that don’t translate well to consoles. The titles you mentioned are clearly aimed at console audiences. It’s disappointing when advanced graphics and engines are designed for PCs, yet most people still play on consoles. MMOs, FPS games, and simulation titles thrive thanks to passionate communities and modding support. PC gaming remains the direction of future console evolution.

Create a refined game for consoles initially, then adapt it for PC using remaining resources. If the adaptation isn’t strong, accept it. PC players are capable, as their systems are more capable than consoles. Build a polished console version first, then transfer it to consoles—it demands significant effort to achieve smooth performance on the latter, increasing costs. The focus shouldn’t be on PCs after the fact; starting with consoles is more efficient.
