At first, my PC worked flawlessly after a year, probably running Windows 1809. Now updates have changed things—Windows Fortnite feels sluggish and behaves like VSync is active. After restarting, it usually stabilizes, though sometimes I need to reinstall Windows for smooth performance. Razer Synapse fails to detect my peripherals, and GeForce Experience lacks sharing and game overlay features. This might relate to the new Windows version, compatibility issues with my hardware, or a problematic installer. If you need simpler OS options or ways to get back to Windows 7 or an older version of Windows 10, just let me know.

What's the spec and the weather? Fortnite has changed a lot since then.

I restart the machine about half the time and it returns to its usual performance, making me wonder if the issue lies with the game. This setup includes a Ryzen 5 3600 Aorus B450 Pro with WiFi, GSKill Trident Z, RTX 2060 Super, and several GPUs.

A game turns slimy when its mechanics or balance shift in a way that feels unbalanced or frustrating, often due to changes in difficulty, reward systems, or player progression.
