Hi everyone, since I started using my PC, my FPS has been consistently poor even with identical hardware. I’m running an RX 6700 XT and a Ryzen 5 3600. I’ve tried updating drivers, tweaking game settings, and adjusting performance options, but nothing improves the numbers. A pattern I’ve observed is that in games where my FPS drops significantly, both GPU and CPU utilization in the software stay below 30%. I’ve also tested rendering at 8K and 480p, but the output remains unchanged. Additionally, when I’m viewing large areas, my FPS drops noticeably—from around 50 to 13-15. I’m reaching out to the forum for advice on how to get my PC back to a stable performance level. (I usually see around 30fps in Sons of the Forest and about 15 in Apex, with 30-50 in Rust depending on the scene)

Thanks

Verify your bios settings to confirm the RAM speed is 3200mhz. Check the resolution and refresh rate currently in use. Have you performed a video test using unengine heaven with gpuz to track power consumption? Are there any games or GPU applications you're using to attempt overclocking, such as MSI Afterburner?
