PC overclocking fails to start up.
Hey everyone, I faced an issue after overclocking my Ryzen 5 2600 to 3.9GHz at around 1.3V. When I restarted the PC, it didn’t display the post-screen and restarted after about 15 seconds. I tried removing the battery for a while but didn’t see any improvement. Also, I shorted the CLR CMOS pins with a screwdriver, but still nothing. My specs are: CPU Amd Ryzen 5 2600, motherboard ASRock B450M Pro, 4GB PSU, Corsair CX 650 GPU, 6GB RAM Corsair LX16 at 3000MHz CL.
Well then we have a problem. You might've fried your CPU with high voltage. Didn't you look at Bios settings change when pressing F10? It shows you all the changes that were made before letting you apply them.
No, I didn't mention unplugging the PSU during the battery removal process.
