Hello, Here are the details: AMD Ryzen 5 2600x with Asus TUF X470-PLUS cooler, Aio Cooler Master 500w PSU, 2x8Gb DDR4 3200Mhz RAM, MSI 1060 3Gb NVMe SSD, 2 HDDs. The system has been running for two years. When I power it on, the power LED lights up and the buzzer sounds a short beep, but the HD lighting and monitor remain inactive. The monitor shows a signal yet it's in power save mode, similar to when the PC is off. Removing one RAM stick works, but adding another restarts everything normally. Only after a restart does the issue reappear. Both RAMs are functioning correctly. I've followed all troubleshooting steps for no POST. Let me know if you need more info. Greetings
Does rearranging the RAM placement or altering the channels affect the issue? Clearing the CMOS might resolve it. Recent BIOS changes could be a factor too.
This seems to function only for one startup. Using B1 and A1 now resolves the issue permanently. Thanks a lot. Still hears beeping occasionally. Unclear what caused it before—since I installed the beeper after the problem started, but I didn’t modify anything. I removed the cell battery, so are both A2 and B2 affected? PS: Ran Memtest with default settings, no errors. Note: it stopped working on A1 and B2 now. Edit 2: Swapped memory didn’t help; cleared CMOS with jumper.
