My PC occasionally recognizes the M5, I've experimented with linking my side mouse button to page up—it functions consistently, but reverting to the default setting causes it to operate around 30% of the time. This issue appears on both my Steel Series Aerox 3 and Logitech g305 mice. I’ve verified the software for both devices, but no updates are listed as required. My experience suggests there are random moments when the mouse works perfectly, yet it abruptly halts for brief intervals. On the other hand, the M4 button on my other side always responds reliably. This inconsistency is problematic during gameplay, where abilities tied to the M5 could suddenly cease functioning. I’m considering switching the mouse button mapping elsewhere or adjusting in-game settings, but I’d like a clearer explanation behind this behavior rather than just tolerating it.
