when i power on the pc the cpu light activates and the fans move slightly then it shuts off within a tenth of a second before restarting again after the psu is turned off. all connections and cables were inspected, different ram tried, no ram used, various cpus and fans tested, brand new psu was used, and i attempted to power on with a screwdriver on the motherboard consistently getting the same outcome. the pc functioned normally initially but began shutting down during gameplay, repeating the process before eventually restarting. any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
The RAM slots on the MSI B550-A Pro Motherboard are A2 and B2. Ensure they are correctly installed and fully seated.
While breadboarded, try to reflash the BIOS using this link: https://download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe...PRO_EN.pdf (page 50, Flash BIOS button).

Thank you for your message.
I apologize for the delayed response; I was quite occupied and the process of reflashing the BIOS took longer than expected because I didn’t want to turn off the PC while doing it, but I had to do it twice. I followed your advice and used only slot A2, then tried A2 and B2 and both gave the same outcome. I also attempted to reflash the BIOS again, but I wasn’t sure if I did it correctly. I downloaded the zip file, extracted it, renamed the folder to MSI.ROM (with the correct file path), and placed it into an empty USB drive. When I tried to reflash it, the motherboard’s flash BIOS button kept stopping the process for over 24 hours. After reviewing the MSI.ROM folder, I changed the name of that file inside to MSI.ROM, which resulted in the same result. Could you confirm if there was anything wrong during the BIOS reflashing? I double-checked that the USB was always in the left slot under the “flash BIOS button” each time.
