Hey there. I chose to restart my PC today because of some visual performance problems. After installing a new Windows 11 version, I realized my RAM wasn’t overclocked. I opened the BIOS to verify if DOCP was turned on, and it was, but my RAM still runs at 2133mHz instead of its full capacity of 3600mHz. I’ve also noticed that after adjusting BIOS settings, the American Megatrends splash screen appears saying the PC is in safe mode due to BIOS changes, yet when I return to BIOS, DOCP remains enabled without resetting. My system specs are: CPU - Ryzen 9 5900x, GPU - EVGA 3070ti Ultra, Motherboard - Asus ROG X570-E, RAM - 2x Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB at 3600mHz. My BIOS is fully updated and my chipset drivers are current, so I’m unsure what’s going on. I previously overclocked my RAM without issues before resetting the PC, and I managed to do it successfully during setup, which makes this situation puzzling. I’ve tried toggling DOCP on and off, but it hasn’t fixed the problem. Any advice would be really helpful!

Verify cpuz and/or hwinfo64 to see real RAM speed. The displayed speed will be half of the advertised value because of DDR2DDR's double data rate, so 3600 becomes the actual speed. If it reads 2133, it will show as 1066.

Note that performance remains poor at low speeds; consider applying the rams XMP profile rather than the default docp.
