It depends on your setup—I’ve got a 3700x with an MSI MEG X570 ACE, and considering a Ryzen 4000 as a potential upgrade. I’ve had them since launch, so it’s not the top configuration out there.
MSI has just dropped the X570 Tomahawk for roughly 200 dollars. Steve from Hardware Unboxed says it’s the top budget X570 board available right now. If you manage to get one, it’s a solid pick. MSI has fixed all the problems the Gaming Pro Carbon and other budget models faced. It handles a 16-core processor smoothly and has a strong VRM design. If the Tomahawk isn’t in stock yet, check out the Gigabyte Aorus X570 Elite. Another solid option is the Asus TUF X570 Plus. The Tomahawk would be my top choice if it’s released. Linus and his team might want to take a closer look at the MSI X570 Tomahawk—buildzoid calls it their go-to board for overclocking.
