Open Event Viewer via Start menu. Navigate to Administrative Events and review the initial errors following a system boot.

The only issue I’ve noticed is right around the time my computer crashed. Everything before that is from several hours prior, and after it’s just a force shutdown report.

BIOS has been refreshed! ME FW is also current if my memory holds. I'll check for any delays over the coming days. Appreciate the support thus far!

BIOS remains current yet occurrences are still rare compared to earlier, as it only occurred briefly moments ago. The attached error keeps appearing in Event Viewer just before a shutdown command, though it happened only for a couple of seconds prior to an event. I’m unsure its importance but feel it’s worth noting.

It seems the issue might still be linked to the outdated firmware version. The system is currently running 16.1.32.2473, which could be contributing to the problem. Updating now is a good idea since the BIOS is already current. You can proceed with flashing the new firmware, but make sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully.

I checked the ME, but it doesn't seem like a likely suspect. Still, I'd go ahead. Not sure the best approach, since before I used the MSI flashtool which updates both BIOS and ME. You might also try a Memtest86 or Testmem5 run. Edited January 19 by leclod

RAM appears normal and my system is updated, but the problem persists. I'm feeling frustrated. Should I send a return or replacement for the PC, or is there another way to fix it before taking that step? The store where I bought it should offer insurance for the whole unit, or is there another method to troubleshoot?

You seem to have exhausted all options after a fresh Windows setup. If you need a replacement, I’d likely handle the return. It’s unlikely you can return just individual components from a ready-made system.
