Current build features AMD Ryzen 1600x, Asus Prime X370 GTX 1660TI, 16GB RAM, 2x8GB, 2666MHz. I attempted to fix Windows issues with sfc/scannow and chkdsk, then performed a clean install to rule out temperature problems. No issues were detected. In games like BF1, BFV, CSGO, or PUBG, I noticed significant performance drops—around 180-200fps at 1080p falling to nearly half with spikes and lows. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Avoid using a Ryzen 1600 with slower than usual RAM; aim for stable 165-200fps consistently. Real-world performance typically ranges from 80-150 depending on game requirements and multi-threading capabilities. The CPU speed and memory capacity play a key role in achieving consistent frame rates, especially in games like CSGO.
