System details: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, Asrock B450M Steel Legend motherboard, RAM module, XPG 32GB DDR4, iGame RTX 4060 Ti graphics, 16GB storage SSD, HP EX900 500GB drive, PNY CS900 960GB power supply, cooler from Cooler Master, and a deepcool CPU cooler. Operating system is Linux Mint 22 with Cinnamon desktop. The issue involves Wi-Fi connectivity problems when the PC is plugged straight into the router, not through mobile hotspots.

It seems you've already checked the antennas and drivers. The problem might be with the hardware itself—try a different card, another device, or even a new router to see if it resolves the issue.

Shift your computer 90 degrees either way and observe the issue. This seems to point toward a weak signal, likely due to a large grounded metal object involved.

I chose to switch off and then turn back on the Wi-Fi router. Then I linked my PC directly to the router on the 5GHz band instead of using a phone hotspot. Now there’s no more interruptions, and I successfully downloaded the Cyberpunk 2077 2.2 update without any issues.

I chose to switch off and then turn back on the Wi-Fi router. Then I linked my PC directly to the router on the 5GHz band instead of using a phone hotspot. Now there’s no more interruptions, and I successfully downloaded the Cyberpunk 2077 2.2 update without any issues.
