I try to power up my computer and the fans and RGB lights start up, spinning quickly. The monitor shows a black image. Then the fans slow down and my keyboard turns off, losing the signal. This issue began when I powered on the PC; it didn’t progress beyond the motherboard logo, with flickering pixels and dots on the screen. After a reset, it passed the logo and displayed a Windows error, asking me to restart. Since then, it hasn’t loaded properly and remains a black screen. I’ve tried several fixes—removing the GPU, deleting the boot drive, booting from BIOS, testing RAM, resetting CMOS, and checking for bent pins—but nothing resolved it. I suspect a component might be faulty, but I’m unsure how to test the motherboard, CPU, or power supply. Everything functioned perfectly the day before and over the past four years. The build is an RX 580 Ryzen 5 3600x Tuff B450M-pro gaming EVGA 500 BT.

You mentioned a GPU issue, which seems to be related to your GPU model. The problem persists even after removing it because your screen size is 3600x and lacks built-in graphics, so a dedicated GPU isn't available. To confirm it's the GPU, try testing with another device or borrow one from a friend. You might also use a different compatible system or purchase a GPU for testing.

It seems like your GPU isn’t performing well. Do you have another functional GPU available?
