Here’s a rewritten version of the text, aiming for clarity and flow:

“I'm experiencing incredibly frustrating lag on my computer, and it’s getting progressively worse. The problem seems to manifest as severe performance issues – almost like a frozen state – that occurs within the first few minutes after starting up. This is followed by intermittent lag that affects everything from gaming and videos to basic tasks like browsing in Chrome. It started subtly, but now it's pervasive, impacting even my desktop environment.

I initially thought a software issue was causing this, so I performed a factory reset of my PC, but the problem returned, and this time it’s significantly worse. The lag is so intense that it locks up completely. It feels similar to the loading times of an older HDD when booting Windows, but it's happening on my SSD.

My computer specs are: CPU – FX6350; GPU – GTX 960 2GB EVGA; Storage – Kingston V300 SSD; Motherboard – ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3; Power Supply – Corsair [Insert PSU Wattage Here - e.g., 550W].”

Most likely the SSD is failing.

Here’s a rewrite incorporating your points and aiming for a more polished tone:

“It's important to have a reliable system, including an SSD. However, if the SSD is failing, it will cause significant delays in loading and running games. Ensure that you are testing your computer regularly to identify issues before they impact game performance.”

overheating / overclock too high / disk failure / failing RAM or not enough of it / garbage on the pc / malware
And yes failing drive (both hdd and ssd) will result in stutters and at some point even freezes or overall super bad performance of the pc, at some point even bsods. But I would first check your os, clean it and scan it. Then move to checking your temps if it's not thermal throttling or if you OCed tone it down a bit, then move to testing the ssd and ram.

Too much heat on components, failing drives, unstable CPU or GPU due to bad overclocking, clean unwanted files and junk, check that cooling is effective etc
