It was just delivered a few days back. Completely new and in perfect condition.
So disclaimer, the following is based on my personal experience and not any sort of scientific or professional testing. In my experience, the memory controllers on Zen 2/3 are DOGSHIT and extremely sensitive to configuration changes and overclocking. I have experienced similar problems as you across multiple AM4 (Zen 2/3) systems, while using 3 different CPUs, 3 different mobos, 4 different kits of RAM, and 2 different PSUs, even on systems that have never been overclocked. My current system (specs in sig) is stable...but only because I'm using a single stick of RAM with looser-than-normal timings (16-20-20-40 as opposed to the more typical 16-18-18-36). The other channel either comes up dead or crashes my whole PC if I install a DIMM into one of those slots. So maybe try running a single stick of RAM and see if the problem goes away? I know that's not much help but this is more of a sympathy post than a help post. Honestly my frustrations with Zen 2 and 3 have been so profound that I had sworn off AMD and was dead-set on going Intel for my next build...until the whole degrading CPU thing showed that Intel is probably even worse
I notice many challenges and difficulties. What bothers me most is that even though my CPU, RAM, and GPU all passed the OCCT check, and my GPU also cleared with FurMark running, Cyberpunk 2077 still seems to be struggling. I’m not alone in this problem. My system might not be powerful enough, especially since I only play at 1080p and can’t afford to replace parts right now. It’s odd that my gaming session lasted longer before the PC restarted. @KidKid suggested trying a different game—maybe it would help me test something else?
It's strange not to hear from anyone lately. One uses a 1040 mobile GPU, the other an RTX 3060. It might mean something different is happening.
