It would be helpful to know WHEN it restarts, how often it does so and what you are doing when it does it?
It would also be helpful to, rather than say "flashed BIOS", list the EXACT BIOS version that is currently installed.
Also, let's don't "think" we know what power supply is in use. Let's take a look at the label on the side of the PSU and get the exact model number and series, as well as offering some idea of approximately how old/how long in service it is?
What does "unknown drivers" mean? Do you mean the drivers are the natively supplied Microsoft drivers and that you haven't gone to the motherboard product page and downloaded/installed the latest network adapter (LAN and WiFi), bluetooth and audio drivers AND gone to the AMD website and downloaded/installed the latest AMD X570 chipset drivers? Because that would be a really good place to start. It would also be very helpful to install HWinfo and take a look at both the CPU and graphics card temperatures to see if a thermal issue might be to blame for the restarts.
Current BIOS version: 7C35vAI. I'm having trouble retrieving HWinfo because the system restarts every 2-3 minutes now. It's unpredictable—sometimes I'm idle with no apps running or playing a game. Temperatures are normal, at least when I open a program for testing.
I wasn't aware there were chipset drivers needing updates, but unfortunately I can't do that anymore. The power supply looks correct and is less than a year old.
This issue started about a year ago with a different GPU, RAM, and PSU. After resetting the computer and replacing those components, it stopped working.
Is there another PC available for downloading memtest86 onto a USB drive?
Does it restart or encounter difficulties if you don’t boot into Windows, but instead go directly to the BIOS setup? Have you attempted setting up a bootable Ubuntu or another Linux distribution and trying to boot from there to check for similar issues? If not, I would try that as well. You are probably going to need some way to connect to another computer, whether it’s a friend’s or a relative’s machine. What models and approximate ages do all connected storage devices have, including any external ones? Have you tried disconnecting all USB devices before powering on to see if the issue persists? If not, I would try that too. I’ve noticed USB devices can sometimes cause this behavior when there’s a problem with them. If possible, I’d run Memtest86 to test for issues outside the Windows environment. If problems remain even without using Windows, you might want to follow the guide provided here.
