It's been nine years since I assembled my PC from scratch. The one I used before upgrading today was made by someone else in 2023. After my argument, it stopped functioning. I upgraded from an R5 5500 A520 CV550 to a R7 5700x3d Gigabyte B550 with P650G cooling. It still uses the same parts: case and fans, DDR4 2666MHz, Gigabyte RX 6800, 500GB SSD (with OS), and the same 4 RAM slots. I removed the 500GB HDD because it was causing SATA issues with the GPU. Now it won’t show anything and no keyboard lights are working, but all fans are spinning. I tried different RAM slots since there are four, and everything tested fine before shipping. Can you help me?

Certain boards require a BIOS upgrade prior to operating newer processors. Consider installing your existing CPU and updating the BIOS to the latest release tailored for your particular board.

I attempted without a GPU and used HDMI on mobile now, but it’s still not working.

The device has been modified prior to shipping. A video containing the 5700x3D chip was included in the Gigabyte MMO, and the BIOS was updated to FD AMD Agesa 1.2.0.B. However, accessing the BIOS is not possible at this time.

What specific motherboard do you have (there are a lot of different B550 boards)

The video they provided includes a 5700x3d chip connected to my B550 M. DS3H rev 1.7, along with the Gigabyte P650G. You can view it via the link shared.

I've just set up a GT 710 but it's not showing any screen yet.

No, I haven't tried reseating the CPU yet.

It's typical for the 5700x3d model to lack an IGPU support.

I begin by swapping or reattaching the GPU. It’s simpler that way. Also verify every cable is securely connected. As @Average Nerd pointed out, the CPU could be at risk if you move the case with a large cooler on top. Replacing it might be wise.
