pc is operating in standby mode and is unresponsive.
hey, Yes I did read the guide pinned, no it didnt help, I literally tried every step. My pc get's power, all fans are spinning, cpu cooler shows liquid temp, gpu logo is lighting up. I cant get into bios, power off button doesnt work, no display, wont recognize my usb stick to reinstall windows. Since I have a prebuild pc (yaya ik, but it was 2021 when all prices were idiotic high) but they have time in 1-2 weeks and it's not even sure they can help me over phone. I have literally no clue, I'm trying to fix this pc since 8am (its almost 11am now)
Yes, it functioned previously without any hardware modifications.
begin by checking what hardware is installed in your prebuilt system—usually you can find details on the spec sheet or by opening the case. The motherboard, GPU, and power supply won’t be directly visible because of the cooling fan above them. When you open the case, take a quick look around and clean any dust that might have formed a short circuit. If you’re not sure how to clean inside without using pressurized air, there are some helpful videos online. Just avoid touching tiny components like the small capacitors on the motherboard unless necessary. Be careful of static electricity when handling parts. As a last resort, unplug everything—mouse, monitor, etc.—and turn off your PSU by pressing the switch next to the power input. Keep the cable connected, press the startup button on the PC for about 10 seconds, then disconnect the power cable and restart the PSU without the cable. This will help drain any residual charge.
My M2 SSD stopped showing up in the BIOS, but I can still access it somehow. The system gives a quick short beep sequence—on the Aorus Elite X570 it points to GPU or RAM problems. It’s not the first time I’ve worked on a PC myself; I’ve tried everything I know and checked online, but I’m stuck and don’t have any answers left.
