I own an Intel i9-14900K with a 4060 Evo 8GB GPU (using the newest drivers) on an Aorus Z790 Elite AX motherboard (updated BIOS and drivers). My setup includes a Cooler Master 850W 80+ Gold power supply and a Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000Mhz CL36-44-44-96 32GB (2x16) RAM. Recently, I’ve noticed game crashes, and after some research, it seems the RAM might be the issue. I tested both sticks individually and found them stable. The problem remains unclear, but any advice would be appreciated.

Yes, installing one works fine, but having both causes frequent crashes.

With one module it works, no problem with any module, but both fail after about an hour while playing

Have you verified that your motherboard is using the most recent BIOS version? Updates frequently fix issues with DDR5 performance. Have you tested both with and without XMP profiles? It would help to know your specific needs—your computer likely has a high-end CPU paired with a very basic GPU. Unless it’s a gaming rig, lowering memory speed or timings can improve stability. Good luck!

The motherboard has the newest BIOS, and I've tested it with and without XMP. It works well for gaming, and I believe a 4060 would be a better choice than my old 3060. This is my first PC build, so I'm still learning about the specs for a gaming rig. They said the numbers are a bit unusual for such a setup.

The 4060 model received similar feedback to the 3060 in many situations. Please let me know if you want to verify the memory modules on the motherboard's QVL list. Are the RAM units still available for return or exchange? I’d consider switching brands if possible, as the current ones aren’t compatible well with your system. Good luck!
