Hey there, I noticed my PC didn’t power up this morning and now it’s not showing any startup. I’ve run the system into sleep mode and reset it, but there’s no booting. My setup is an ROG Strix X570-E with a Ryzen 5800x and an MSI RTX 3080. The motherboard displays code “02” when I power it on, but there’s no image. This isn’t my first build—I’ve been using it for about a year now. I remember there were some strange CPU temperature spikes a few months back, followed by sudden throttling. After switching to an AIO cooler, the issue stopped. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forums! When was the last time the BIOS was updated on the motherboard?

I changed the ports my monitors were connected to on the GPU, and it started up. I don’t know why that happened, but I’m using Windows now.

I added a game and near the end of a round I lost video. I heard about notifications in windows. Now I’m starting over.

Updated the bios file again. Problems persist. Restarted the PC this evening to check the Mobo splash and view the attached image.

I purchased the board recently. Just made a quick update. No decision yet.

Checking for any harm to the motherboard, it seems the board might be completely damaged. I’ve searched online and found out what monitor you’re using along with the cable you have.

It's been a while, and I'm not sure if I recall everything. The monitors seem to be functioning properly now. I considered changing the cables, but that didn't resolve the issue. During the game, when the video stopped, both monitors failed and it sounded like the game crashed in the background.

You can try switching out cables. Also, I read on a post talking about the input of the monitor, i.e DisplayPort 1.2 or 1.4. They said that by changing it, it solved their problem. Here's the link: Otherwise, I'm suspecting the board is the issue here.
