My PC is placed close to a wall-mounted TV. I’m thinking about connecting them for a dual-screen setup, especially for gaming. Can I split a Steam game between the TV and my monitor? If not directly, what alternatives exist to achieve a similar effect?

If the game allows split screen, you might try it, but much of the screen will be hidden by the bezels, making it unhelpful. Instead, play the whole game on the TV and use a console-style split screen.

There are various split-screen titles available, similar to CS or racing games, though they may not be widely known. Explore options that offer multiplayer experiences across devices.

I believe any nearby multiplayer game would fit. It seems Forza would be a good choice since it's a well-known console title.

Check out Dirt 3's split-screen feature. For local co-op racing games, look on Steam.

When the game allows split screen, you'll find a choice to divide the displays across two monitors.
