One of the most interesting stops in town had a staff manager who was really passionate about PCMR and would try hard to dissuade people from buying consoles. He had a close relationship with the area manager and managed to succeed until someone higher up came along with his son to purchase a PS4 for a friend's birthday. I was there filming my lunch break with a buddy and saw him get fired for being rude. (I’m not sure what was written on the termination paperwork.) To sum it up, in a game store you’re mainly a worker first and a fanboy second. Don’t insult or criticize someone’s preferences—it hurts sales that way.
