PC Game Trouble with First-Person Shooter Problems
Start with your main details: you're running an i7 4790k, GTX 970, and a 8GB RAM setup. Your GPU performance drops noticeably when FPS falls, even though you can get solid numbers at lower settings. Many users praise the GTX 970 for its smooth frame rates, but yours only hits 30-40 FPS at 1080p with minimal settings. Memory usage isn’t the problem—your system has room and you’re using 3GB out of 3.5GB as recommended. The real question is why your GPU isn’t delivering the expected performance despite these specs.
Sure, I'll wait for your response. Any additional ideas would be great.

Yeah I get good solid 70-80+ fps on very high but sometimes I get little stuttering, I hope that they'll patch that thing soon. It can get very annoying. For the stuttering it helped a bit when I set the GTA V CPU priority to "high" on the task manager.
